Water, water, everywhere! Tell those kids to turn off the Game Boy, holster that cell phone and turn off the TV. Get them outside and let them get hooked on the mountain playground! Take a lot of pictures and videos. You won’t want to forget these times, but first you have to create them. Provide experiences they will remember all of their lives. Don’t wait.
This tract has frontage on Rock Creek. A smaller stream and multiple springs flow out of this 219 acre mountain watershed. There are several good home sites with long and medium range views, or build your mountain home down near the water. Create a family retreat and let the children and grandchildren do their summer camping here, exploring the property and playing in the waters. Watch the wildlife amble through your property from your front porch. Sit in front of a crackling wood fire in a stone fireplace or wood stove on a crisp winter day. Stay for the snows and marvel at the variety of wildlife that leaves tracks in your neighborhood.
